The Hill Academy recently completed an unforgettable trip to New York City, offering students a chance to explore one of the world’s most vibrant cultural and commercial centers. Known as the city of dreams, New York provided countless memorable experiences and opportunities for growth, discovery, and bonding.

In collaboration with the AST Foundation, the school organized a powerful event to raise awareness about the struggles of victims in Turkey. The Social Genocide Exhibition highlighted stories of hardship and resilience, emphasizing the importance of empathy and solidarity. Students had the opportunity to engage deeply with these stories and reflect on the value of human rights and justice. The event featured presentations by Arzumar Muradova, Ceyda Tatlı, and Neda Candam, who brought powerful perspectives to the conversation.

As part of the school’s educational enrichment, Erol Dinçer hosted a thoughtful Sohbet-i Canan discussion titled “Romantic Relationship in Islam.” The session provided a space for students to explore relationships through a spiritual and cultural lens, encouraging meaningful dialogue and introspection.

The Hill Spirit initiative, guided by the motto “Climb Every Hill with Respect,” highlighted a range of community-building activities. Students participated in a condolence visit in memory of M. Fethullah Gülen Hocaefendi, demonstrating empathy and solidarity. They also enjoyed a fun and active day at Sky Zone, which helped strengthen friendships and social bonds. Regular breakfast programs were held to foster a stronger sense of community, while creative projects like keychain making allowed students to express themselves artistically. Additionally, students engaged in mentoring and accompanying younger children, reinforcing a culture of compassion and responsibility within the school community.
